"Aligning Learning and Measurement" with Steven Just

Program Description:

Many companies have learning strategies but very few have measurement strategies. This workshop will focus on the need for both a learning strategy AND a measurement strategy and demonstrate why they are complementary. The talk will survey the latest findings in the science of learning and show how we can use this knowledge to improve our training programs. Then it will cover the processes needed to create fair, valid and reliable assessments and illustrate how to interpret the results of these measurements in a meaningful way.

Finally, the workshop will tie these two topics together showing how effective measurement is critical to improving learning programs and is used to enhance employee learning and performance. Did you miss Steven Just at the ATD annual conference in May? Well join him and us at Trainer’s Edge SIG.
