Capturing & Sharing Knowledge in Your Organization
The Leadership and Organizational Development's February program will be a roundtable format so that we can collaborate and share best practices.
The focus of our discussion will be on a topic that is of great interest to many organizations -- Capturing & Sharing Knowledge in Your Organization.
Knowledge management (KM) is the process of capturing, developing, sharing, and effectively using organizational knowledge. KM efforts typically focus on organizational objectives such as improved performance, competitive advantage, innovation, the sharing of lessons learned, integration and continuous improvement of the organization.
So what are you doing in the area of capturing and sharing knowledge in your organization? With the baby boomers retiring in great numbers and the organizational potentially losing all of that knowledge and experience, this is an area that we need to give serious consideration to. Please come with your ideas and experience so that we can learn from each other in this important area.
