Emotional Intelligence is an essential skill for professionals at all stages of their careers. It can enhance self-awareness, foster relationships, boost resilience, and elevate effective leadership skills. In this session, we will explore the four cardinal directions of the emotional intelligence compass: empathy, reasoning, self-care, and motivation. These dimensions can be used to help orient development for individuals and teams and can be especially helpful for talent development professionals. The EI compass can serve as reference points for leaders to focus the development of their team and provide guidance for the path forward. Learn how you can use this tool in your own development and the development of teams.
