Greater Philadelphia Chapter
Are you looking for an opportunity to present to TD professionals in the Greater Philadelphia region? If so, please carefully review the information below.
Both the areas of expertise and foundational competencies in the ATD competency model defines the required skills and knowledge for TD professionals across the industry to be successful. You can use this model to position your topic in one of the desired formats described below.
Interactive presentations engage our members and help us maintain our professional community network across a broad geographic area. Most of these formats are delivered in the evening (60-75 mins). Please tailor your presentation in at least one of these formats:
ATD Greater Philadelphia will review your proposal, and select among those that are most relevant, current, and compelling to our chapter membership and guests, and that have strategic value to the association. Topics that address current ATD Greater Philadelphia and industry topics are preferred.
Upon receipt, your submission will be acknowledged and reviewed. All proposals are ranked by selection criteria established by the ATD Greater Philadelphia.
Our chapter meetings educate and inspire our members, who represent all segments of the regional talent development community. This includes trainers, organizational development practitioners, instructional designers, eLearning developers, human resource professionals, various managers and executives, technology vendors, and internal and external consultants.
Presentations with effective audiovisual materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentation, web demonstration), and handouts, (e.g., sample job aids, etc.) are appreciated. Please restrict the use of your organization’s logo and presenters’ contact information to the final page of visual materials. We do not permit presenters to survey our members prior to presentations. Post session feedback is available if requested.
Our policy is not to reimburse presenters for expenses or provide honoraria for presentations. Meeting registration, which includes a light meal, is complimentary. Guests of presenters are expected to pay the meeting fee, if a fee applies.
Please do not sell products or services during your presentation. Ensure that your presentation focuses on concepts, techniques, and best practices. We greatly prefer presentations that feature work done with clients. Presenters are not permitted to solicit member contact information directly. However, presenters are permitted to obtain contact information by means of a business card raffle of books, products, or other giveaways, if members are advised that their contact information may be used for marketing purposes.
