Engaging Learners vs. Educating Learners: Not Mutually Exclusive

How many times have you sat in a training session mesmerized by the facilitator, but left wondering if you’d gleaned from the session what you expected?  Bring your mobile device. This session is an interactive  discussion of

  • Learner Engagement: What it means to engage learners

  • Why Facilitators May Not Get A Higher Score For “Tricks”: Whether “entertaining” is meant to engage learners or mask poor learning design

  • Why We Believe That Engaging Learners While Designing And Delivering Learning That Is “Technically Correct” Is Tantamount: That learning and engagement can and must coexist
